Pixma MG5520 won't print correct paper size

Specs: Macintosh
Printing size is 4x6, even though everything is set to letter size and the paper is letter size. i've checked the settings on my mac as well as on my printer

4x6 is photographic paper size so it probably thinks it's printing a picture. Make sure you have the correct paper tray selected. Also if you have 4x6 photo paper in the tray, try removing it so the printer will automatically select the regular paper tray.

So, you do NOT want to print 4x6 card size then? I have found that programs can override the default print paper size and orientation. Look at the program print settings you are using to send the print job. For example the settings in Word.
