Specs: Windows XP Pro
My computer went to screen saver. When I brought it back up it had a pink screen. Rebooting does not correct it. What can I do to repair. I am not very computer literate!!

Could be a loose or bad cable, bad video card or bad monitor. Check that the cable is in good condition and firmly attached to the video port. Try the monitor on another computer. If both those check out it's probably the card.

This assumes the screen is also pink prior to windows loading. If it's only pink in windows then it must be a driver or video setting problem.

The screen is pink right from booting. It did revert to normal for a few minutes before "pink" again. I'll try
another monitor. Cables seem OK.
