Phoenix noteBIOS Keyboard and possible disc drive problems

I got a Phoenix note BIOS from my teacher she wants me to fix, and i the keyboard falling out and the strip thing that connects it to the circutry is no longer connected. I need to know where to put the strip in the hardware.

I think you had better give it back to your teacher because I done think you really know what you are doing.

Phoenix note BIOS is meaningless. All the describes is the BIOS that installed in the hardware. It say nothing about the hardware it is installed in which you tell us nothing about.

We dont know what hardware you have got. Even if we did the chances are you will need a service manual for the machine unless by chance there is someone with exactly the same hardware as you have and is prepared to take it apart to find the information you need.

ok, sorry for the noobishness btw im just a 15 year old computer programmer i dont work with hardware :) i think i just need to know how to reseat the ribbon cable

There can't be very many open slots within reach of the disconnected cable. I'd think it would be fairly easy to find. Here's a google search result that may help:
