Specs: Windows 7, 2GB
I have just attached a new vga cooler to my XFX 9600GT, its a Accelero TWINTURBO

When the PC is on its side it cools brilliantly with a steady temp of 35c. But as soon as I turn it upright the PC shuts down. I can only assume that the weight of the cooler is causing a slight gap between the contact of the cooler and the VGA CPU.

I have tried to support the card, with wire attached to the PC case, but that has not solved the problem. ANy ideas of how I can support the card within the case to rid myself of this problem?

You may not have the card fully inserted. Is your case a tool less model?

I'm pretty sure it is, but I will double check. The card is attached to an XFX SLI 680i MB, which is in an Antec Solo II case. Its not a tooless case.
