pc shut off

Specs: vista 64, x2 64 5600/cosar 4gb
pc shuts down like someone pulled the plug. then won't start up for a few minutes. then doesn't do it for weeks then does it again. i can play call of duty modern warfare 2 for like 5 hour straght and it doesn't shut down. its random. i over kill for fans 3 120mm, hdd fans. i did the nvidia stress test everthing fine. i get no errors, just do you want start insafe mode. power source?

Yeah, i suspect psu failure. And u didn't bother to list your system specs. What is your cpu,gpu temp? For cpu and system temp better check in bios.

temps are good fans speeds are good. mb temp is 32C and cpu temp is 39C. my gpu temp i couldn't get. i took the power source and put it on an old mother board. just hooked it to the mother board and switch from another tower. wouldn't turn on then i walked away and it turned on by it self. it turned on and off by it's self a bunch of times. then i put the older power source back on the the old mother board and switch and the old power source and mother board work fine. i didn't hook up any HDD or cddrives to make sure it wasn't a hardware or a software issue. just MB and switch and power source. power source seem to be glitching if it's turning on and off on 2 diferent Mother boards and switches.
