pc keeps shutting down

Specs: Windows XP
Hello! my pc keeps shutting down. I already replaced the power supply but still it shuts down abruptly... I had it fixed by another technician. he cleaned the fan and it worked fine for just a feq days then it started shutting down again. Should I clean the fan more often? I don't really know how to open the CPU and I'm scared to cause I'm not familiar with the hardware issues.

Boot into the BIOS (setup) screens and look for a screen with system and CPU temperatures. Let the computer set in that screen and monitor the temps for at least ten minutes. While at that screen see if there is a temperature setting at which the computer will shutdown.

Post all that information here.

If you have an OEM computer from Dell, HP, etc. then the del key probably won't work. All you need to do is to watch the screen at start up. The correct key to enter the setup will be displayed there. Most likely an F key, like F1 or F2. Could be something else.

Your BIOS may be different that the image posted in #3. Did you look at that one? If yours look much different you may have all the selections across the top. toggle to the right to highlight the desired selection and then hit enter.
