Why do you want to do that? Windows can't read more than one partition on flash drives unless you mess with it to act like an installed drive.

The format may be in exfat. You should be able to format it but there is little need to format a flash drive.

A Pit Bull is like a gun you can pet. And there is no safety on it.

Formating the partition and creating a new partition are two different things, you don't need to create a new partition. Just right click on the drive in Explorer and select Format.

Have you guys ever heard of Linux?? You can have up to four VISIBLE partitions on a USB pen drive, which means you can also have four bootable OS's on one pen drive, (providing of course, you know how to use something other than Windoze).

Yes, we've heard of Linux and mulitple partitions (which can also be done with FAT32 & NTFS file systems, it's not exclusive to Linux) and neither have anything to do with what the OP was asking. It's obvious he was confusing partitioning and formating. He wanted to wipe the drive to get rid of the password protection.

Do you realize this thread is over a month old and the OP is most likely long gone?
