I can't open partition D: on my computer with double click only by choosing explore on open from right click?!

What should it say.

Is it a partition on your harddrive ??
Is it on the same harddisk as C: ??
Is it an internal or external drive: ??
What is the Filesystem type ??

the answer to your questions are:
1 D: Is a partition on my internal laptop HDD
2 Yes it is on same HDD as C:
3 It is an internal HDD
4 File system is FAT32

Show hiden files open drive and delete the file autorun.Inf or u can download software called autorun removal.And this problem can be caused by virus.

I just tried to delete autorun.inf from partition d: (now after showing it as hidden as you mentioned ), but salas still d: will not open with double click!
Must I reboot my computer for the change to take effect?
I scaned my computer for viruses an adawere sveral times using Norton Internet scurity 2009 which I instaled ofter this problem appeared.! what next??

Dear kuwese,
Thanks alot it worked as soon as I rebooted D: could be opened now by double clicking it again.
Could you look into my latest posted problen about error of missing or misalocated user32.dll file on booting, and in it's place in sysytem32 is another file shell32.dll!!
also a missing m3plugin.dll file what can I do pls advise me
