Solved Parkard Bell iMAX X9300 Mains voltage

Specs: Windows Vista
I would like to take my Packard Bell iMAX X9300 desktop, to the USA. It is currently being used on 230 Volts in France. Will I required a transformer in order to use it on a 110 volt mains power system?

The linked transformer is only rated for 230W max. I would recommend you simply replace the power supply. I am in the USA but all the power supplies I have ever bought are rated for 115V or 230V.

Have you looked at the back of your power supply for a switch to go from 230V to 115V. Also possible the power supply may automatically adjust for the available input voltage.

If you post the full model number of your power supply we should be able to figure this out.

Whoops, OtheHill is correct...I was thinking you had a laptop (my mistake). Also he's correct about checking the power supply for a 115/230 volt switch (see link to image below). Most machines here in the US have that switch, with newer ones automatically adjusting for the either input voltage...
