My acer easy note powers up but screen remains blank cant put pass word in nothing works have tried turning on and off nothing works blank screen only

If you never ever see anything on the screen it has to be a hardware fault (as you probably assumed). If it sounds like it is booting up normally then a common failure is the connection between the motherboard and the screen. Connectors at each end can work loose and the cable can fail where it hinges. For the latter, boot up the machine then lower the lid gently. If you see anything suddenly appear on the screen where it hinges is most likely although it could still be connectors.

If you don't think it is booting up normally then it could be all manner of things, including the power adapter.
