Every LCD monitor have native resolution, if not set u will see poor image quality. Start the computer then tap F8 when u see the post screen, Highlight and select the option "enable low-resolution video (640 x 480)" after windows starts correct the resolution.

"it si showing out of range everytime the desktop starts "

That message is generated by the monitor itself, not by the operating system.

You should have normal video while booting BEFORE Windows attempts to start to load normally.
If you DO, then what kuwese said applies.

If you get that message right away while booting and get no video otherwise, something else is wrong.

LCD displays can run fine at a 60Hz refresh rate. No need to run any higher than that. As stated, you should run in the noative resolution, which is usually the highest stated resolution.

Out of range messages were more common on the older CRT type monitors.

Not all of them run fun at 60hz, my old samsung lcd monitor support both 60 and 75hz refresh rate but show clear picture at 75hz. Bigger lcd display have big refresh rate.
