Hi. Here is the story. I have 6 pc running on a LAN with 1 of them acts as print server. I would like to know if there is any way to make this happen; when the clients print out their documents, they will be using the print settings that has been set on the server, or in other word, their (client) printing properties is disabled. So, can it be done or if any software I should try to implement it. Thanks very much.

I'd guess a linux computer could do that but you'd have to learn linux and have a printer that is fully or mostly supported.

Might be possible to implement security but you'd need xp pro. Not sure if you can with xp home editions.

Thanks for the info. Now I'm using a free software called Remote Queue Manager Personal. It tells me which client the document is coming from, whether it's color or black and white, and ink quality that the client use to print that document. Maybe I can't stop my client PCs from changing the default printer settings, at least I know what are they doing and I'll certainly charge them more :D, Btw thanks for your input Jefro.. Really appreciate it.
