Specs: None (yet), Pen II
I have a TriGem Intel Pentium model number TG2401 made in 1999. I got it from the recyling yard. It is a old clean computer.

I have already tried googling it and came up with nothing. I can not find specifications/support on this computer. geez

No Operating system. I suspect it came out with win 98.

I may give it back to them, I have not decided yet.

What were you planning on doing with it? Get into the bios and have a look, or just open her up and see for your self, should be able to tell how big the HDD is, motherboard model (and give you a rough idea of the processor without taking of the heat sync) how much ram it has and video card too. Will be quicker than installing 98 and checking the specs.

Unfortunately pre P3 computers dont have much use these days, since even surfing the web is now a big task for them because of all the flash elements.

It is an old project hobby computer. Not that important. I have a old windows 6.22 operating system and windows 3.1 I was going to put on it is all. I agree there is very little demand for something like that.

Actually, P3's aren't "that" obsolete. A leaner/newer OS would likely fit the bill to make the machine quite useful:

I see my first reply did not post here. My apologies if I post the same thing twice. I have some old DOS games here I was going to play with. That is why the interest. I have been playing with Ubuntu/Linux also on another computer here. I guess there are some Linux Distros that would work better on older slower low memory computers. i have seen puppy linux on ebay before. thanks for the links I will check them out.
