Specs: Windows XP, 256MB
Ok i have a IBM Thinkpad 2373 its an older model well, it looks older anyways. Says its running Windows XP has a 40 Gig HD and 1GB of RAM. And it has a busted screen so i disconeected it and put my external screen on it, but the problem is...i hook a power supply to it and try to turn it on and nothing happens...i hear a very faint ticking sound when i hit the power button. not sure what it is or why it doesnt turn on, but the battery light is on and i hit the power button it flickers and goes off and shows back up. So whats wrong with it?

Did it work before you took the screen off?

"And it has a busted screen"

What sort of trauma did the laptop suffer to break the screen. It could be related.

im not sure what it went through before i got it. But the screen was just cracked no leakage or anything but im sure wouldnt display anything so i removed it. Every now and then while attempting to charge it ill turn it on and it will seem like its going to start but then it just goes right back off...it sucks lol. I may need a diffrent charger but i know some power is getting to it. Just need to figure out a way to see if it will turn on and stay on before i put money into it.
