Solved Not able boot my system on.

Specs: Windows xp , Intel(R) Pentium(R)Dual core @ 2.2GHz/2 GB ram, ddr2
I have a dell optiplex 360, with windows xp, and I accidentally set the refresh rate to 140hz and now when I boot up , it displays "CANNOT DISPLAY THIS VIDEO MODE, CHANGE COMPUTER DISPLAY INPUT TO 1366×768@60Hz". But I'm not even able to boot into safe mode. Even pressing the f8 key at repeatedly doesn't work. What can I do.

Hi Abhay, suggest persevering with the F8 key.

I find gentle tapping throughout the *ENTIRE* boot process eventually works, although often i have to try more than once..

Seems you are not alone experiencing this problem, see:-.

Good Luck - Keep us posted

Reboot, tap the F8 key, select "Enable VGA Mode", then correct the display settings.
