Norton killed my printer

Symantec Norton 360 version 3.0 - 3 user...

Specs: Windows 7
Ok..I Had this Dell Printer that was working flawlessly..I got a new computer and installe the printer on it with no problem..I installed Norton 360 on the new computer with Windows 7..Of course I learned later this was not compatable with Norton 360...Anyway my printer no longer works through the USB port..Ptinter works fine on its own but the computer won't recognize it hooked up..I took this printer to 4 other computers and none of them would pick this up..My question..Can Norton actually "fry" a USB connection in the printer itself??

No. software can't fry a usb port. Usb is electrical. I suggest you do a System Restore to before you installed the dreaded Norton software. If it doesn't restore to before the installation, you may need to find out how to uninstall Norton completely. Go to the norton site and look for an uninstall program or directions on how to remove it. Once you're clean, reinstall the printer and stay away from Norton.

Norton is garbage but it's not responsible for your printer problem. Either you did something that you're not telling us or it was just it's time to die.
