I can't find an option for Wake on LAN for the NF650iSLIT-A motherboard.
It has Wake on Ring
It has Wake on PCI
It has Wake on Ps/2But no WOL/magic packet
Anyone with this motherboard got WOL? If so did you update your Bios?
If you're running an old BIOS version, the latest version *may* add the WOL feature. I just checked the available BIOS at the ECS website but it isn't listed as one of the fixes/updates. Certainly wouldn't hurt to try though. For what it's worth, I ran across this:
This was going to be my last resort, only because I don't have the money to replace my Motherboard if things go pear shaped lol. I have only had a few mobo's in my life, which all had WOL, is this unusual not to have WOL on a mid range mobo?
EDIT: I'm using the onboard NIC, which supports WOL.
ALso, How do I check how many updates have been available to my BIOS, I have never updated this one before.
The latest BIOS has ALL the updates from the past version, plus whatever updates are included in the newest version. You don't have to flash in succession. It looks like there have only been 3 BIOS versions for your board...the latest is version 08/11/04 (dated 11/25/2008). You *may* already have that version. Check your POST screen when you 1st boot up...the BIOS version *should* be displayed on the screen momentarily, it may even be shown in the BIOS menu. I prefer to flash from DOS, but you need a floppy drive for that. If you don't have a floppy, use the WinFlash utility:

You'll find the BIOS files in the download section:
I have had my mobo since 2007, so there's at least two updates available for me ;D Thank's for all the research you have done, its much appreciated.
