Al right I couldnt really get what I was looking for from the other posts on this problem. So, I wake up 1 saturday morning and my computer's monitor says no vga input and then check video cable. That message comes up right after you start the computer, and f8 didnt work. So I went out and got a new vga monitor cable and tried it but it still says check video cable. So would this be a video card problem? My comp with this problem is an HP Presario SR2039X pc. Its about 6 years old so I am thinking its a video card problem but want to know for sure. Last year the power supply failed so yea I am thinking its a video card prob Also, my video card is integrated into motherboard, so would I have to get an external video card?

Have you checked the setting of the motherboard's video setting?
