I have a problem with sound after I connect my PC (Compaq HP) to TV (Lumatron 19D49DVD). I am using VGA cable with male to male cable. Once I plug the headfone part (balck head) from the pc the sound appears from my PC but when i plug it again to my PC i get no sound from the TV. PLZ heelp..!!
I use audio cable (male to male) beside VGA cable. but there is no sound at all from the TV. I ment that once I take off the audio cable from my PC ( I can see that there is a sound from my PC) but once I put it again in the PC the sound disappears and I cant get any sound from the TV.
Yes..I put the black end in the audio output ( headphone port) in my laptop and the other end of the cable ( the white and the red ends) in the audio input port at the back of my TV but still I cant get sound out from my TV?!! I havent made any adjustments in the sound setting in my TV cos so simply I cant find that there is any options to adjust it..
It's getting a little more clear. Now we know it's a laptop. And we also know it's an adapter cable - 1/8" stereo to red/white RCA. I can't find any info about your TV so the model number must be incorrect or incomplete.
I have the exact same problem... except my laptop is a Medion Akoya E1210 and my TV is a Lumatron LED-2410DVD...connected by VGA (works fine), but the sound doesn't transfer when i connect the adapter cable...
