Specs: Windows 7
Tried to power up today and nothing happened. Never had this problem and suspected power supply. Replaced power supply with new one, and still no power.

Sometimes fans and drives will spin up but nothing else happens. In that case you can't be sure if the problem is the motherboard or power supply. But usually when everything is dead it's the power supply. Are you sure the replacement power supply is good? And you've connected it up correctly?

With the power cord disconnected, temporarily disconnect all the drives and remove any unnecessary cards and disconnect any USB devices. Then reconnect the power cord and try it again. If you get the posting or logo screen then likely one of the disconnected items is at fault.

"Replaced power supply with new one, and still no power"

What did you take out, what did you put back in? Please post the make/model, wattage, & amperage specs for each.

EDIT: Here's the system specs, it's fairly old:

Nothing at all happens--no fans spinning or LEDs flashing--when using either PSU? You might want to check your power cord too. Is it connected through a battery backup?

Connected directly to outlet. I replaced old power supply with brand new 450 watt. When I power on, nothing happens, no lights, no fan.
