No lights appear on TP Link when plugged in.

Specs: Windows 7
TP Link PA511. One of a pair has been left out of the mains socket for some months. Now reinserting it, nothing lights up. Faulty??

Make sure there is power to the socket it's plugged in to (plug something else in to the same socket to test for power).

If there is power to the socket but power light not lit on the front of the Powerline Adapter then it has to be faulty.

Yes, definitely power there. Must be faulty. Wonder what the expected life is for these. Is 2 years too short?

One would hope noticeably longer than 2yrs...

Which having said.. I have a selection of Devolo 85Mbps modules; youngest is about 2yrs old; oldest several year old.

I have had one go down from my first batch of five - after about five years use; won't light up; and the internal fuse is OK...

But the rest are still OK.

Check to see if there is an internal fuse on your TP module; it may be no more than that which hath failed and can be easily replaced (use a slo-blow/anti-surge type).
