Newly purchased ASUS Q551L Laptop Randomly Shuts Off?

Specs: Windows 10, 8.00 GB
I just purchased my ASUS laptop about a month ago (towards the end of August), and in the last week it has shut off on me twice without warning. I almost always keep it on a cooling pad to prevent this, and when it shuts off it never feels warm or hot, and never gives me an error message when I turn the laptop back on. I did recently upgrade to Windows 10, but it has been at least a couple of weeks since the download and has given me no other problems up until now. I am using an ASUS Q551L laptop (which can be converted into a tablet as needed), with Windows 10, an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card, and an Intel i7 processor. Originally, the computer ran Windows 8, but I chose to update it to 10 upon being prompted. Again, this computer is almost brand new, and this is the only issue I have noticed. Is this something I need to worry about, or just a random coincidental occurrence? Any help would be much appreciated!

I assume there was no random shutdown before you did the upgrade, correct?

No, it did not do this before I upgraded it, but it took it several weeks to start giving me any problems after the upgrade.
