newest BIOS for Dell XPS running Windows 7

January 12, 2011 at 15:00:57
Specs: Windows 7
I had to replace the two Hard Drives (2006 Maxtors) on my Dell XPS desktop. The computer recognizes the drives but says "no boot device". I believe I need to update my BIOS - existing one is A04. Is this correct? If so, where can I find the latest BIOS that will work for a Windows 7 OS? If not, what's the solution to booting up my system?

You DO NOT need to flash the bios to fix that problem !

The bios version is NOT operating system specific !

A hard drive is not bootable until an operating system has been installed on it.
