A friend needs some help building his first machine which he wants to use for video editing and playing games. We have done some research and with help/advice from CNET members i have come up with the following, i need some more advice, is this system too much, and also can you please help me with choosing a good PSU and GPU?

Mobo GA-P55A-UD4

DDR3 PC3-12800 • 8-8-8-24

Intel Core i5 650 3.20Ghz (Clarkdale)

help please

ATI Radeon 5750

im going slightly over budget and i was hoping maybe someone could help me choose some cheaper yet well performing parts please?

ps gaming isnt the main intention for this system video editing is, not sure if that makes any difference?

Thank you.

I'd step up to a core i7.

The PS unit should be one certified for i core's. I know it is too much but look at at least 650W.

As far as the video it might depend more on what video app you want to run If Adobe then look to see a type may be better suited based on the application's web site recommendations.

Look for Corsair cmpsu-650tx.

if u have a budget to keep stick with core i5 or if u grow $ go to core i7.
