New Motherboard?

Specs: Windows 7
The power connection on my Packard bell easynote tj65 has been damaged several times. I've had it soldered more than once but the connection is beginning to break again I fear and wont be fixable. Does this mean I'll need to replace the motherboard? If so what would be a good replacement? Currently running a Mcp73vt-pm, should I get the same one or is there better available for same price? Running Pentium Dual core 2 with GB ram bit operating system. also recommendations for a upgrade for graphics card? Thanks

You aren't going to have any choices in the model of the board. You have a laptop so the board is more or less dedicated to that model. If your model came with more than one series of graphics chip then you could possible which to a better graphics. I would guess that won't be the case.

You should consider what the current value of that laptop is and not spend even that much to repair it.

Why do you keep breaking the connection? are you moving the laptop while you have AC power connected?

I can't imagine that problem being caused by anything other than abuse.
