|I'm getting together a PC for my friend, we only kept her old HDD.|
When I tried to boot the PC the first time, it passed POST, offered me to press del to enter BIOS, then, when I was supposed to load XP, a blue screen appered with the "STOP : 0x000000F7" error.
I tried to switch the HDD with one HDD of mine wich was installed on a machine with the same video card so it couldn't be a video card driver issue.
This time, I saw the windows loading screen about 10 sec before it stopped loading and my HDD began to make clicking noises.
My friend now thinks I'm a complete idiot and want her computer working ASAP, any help would really be appreciated.
