New built pc, monitor not responding.

Specs: Windows 7, Pentium D
hi everyone,
i recenly built a pc and everything is pretty much new, i've checked the wire connections several times and components compatibility but my monitor wont respond.
i've cleared the CMOS and it comes on so managed to install windows but now i have to clear CMOS everytime before i turn the pc on otherwise i get no signal on the monitor.
please help

After you use the CLR CMOS jumper and restore it to the RUN position do you then boot into BIOS and adjust the settings? Please provide details of the hardware you have used. ie make/model numbers for motherboard, CPU, RAM, Graphics card and Powersupply. Otherwise we are guessing.

Motherboard: Asus P5Q Pro Turbo
CPU: Pentium D 3.6GHZ
Graphics: Asus EN9500GT 1GB
RAM: Corsair 2X1GB 6400
PSU: 700Watts

Oh and yes after i clear the CMOS it gives me options F1 to BIOS and F2 to windows.
