Have you ever logged into a router?

There is probably a factory reset button, DO NOT press it, unless you know how to put the correct settings back.

Basically use a network cable from the router to your pc. In the address bar type in the ip address of your particular model of router.

192.168.0.1 ??? you then need your user name & password, then perhaps with settings provided by your isp put them in.

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.

Are you sure that the router changed it's name or is your computer seeing the neighbor's router? Do what clive said, connect it with a Cat5 cable & check the settings.

How do you know when a politician is lying? His mouth is moving.

guapo, has made me think. I assume you are/were on wireless, double click the wireless icon on the bottom right of the pc, there will be a list of wireless connections, see which one is your's try to connect putting in your wep key.

It could be your pc is automatically trying to connect to your neighbour's router.

A thank you would be nice, if I have helped.

"it says limited internet access"
Does it sometimes make a connection?

You could try unplugging it again for a few minutes then plugging it back in again. You will need to wait a minute or two before it connects.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
