Solved Need to pick a suitable motherboard on the cheap.

Specs: Windows 7
I need a recommendation for a new motherboard for a AM3 chip (AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition). I have a Nvidia GTX550 TI card just incase that helps. I know it needs a 16x PCI express slot. I only have £40 to spend on the motherboard and I'm clueless. Any help would be great thanks :)

£40 doesn't offer much choice as most are the wrong side of £50. But I found this one manufactured by Biostar:

No reviews on the vendor's site yet, but I'm sure you'll find plenty of reviews for this board if you google it. Don't buy without reading reviews first as I've no experience of Biostar boards myself so don't treat my post as a recommendation. I know you asked for one, but I can't recommend something I've had no experience of, I'm just trying to help you find something within your budget.

If it's recommendations you want, my guess is most people will recommend you spend rather more than £40.

I am on the West side of the pond so I don't know UK vendors. The board linked above is a Biostar brand, which is a good brand. The vendor provides NO information. Is the board new used, what? I have used Biostar and they are a reputable brand.

Link to the Biostar specs. Only 2 RAM slots.

95W CPU support max. Your CPU may be 125W.
