List all the parts you're going to use. The GTX 750 TI is an entry level card. Most importantly will be your power supply. Be sure to get a good one with a single 12 volt rail like the Corsair line. The size will depend on the components and what you're planning on doing with the computer. More cores on the cpu doesn't mean faster. You need to list ram etc.

Yes it's a pci-e card and just plugs into your pci-e slot. Some 750 TI cards use a 6 pin power connector and some draw their power form the slot on the mobo. I just installed a Zotac GeForce 750TI in my machine and it gets power form the slot. All modern mobo's have a pci-e slot or even a few.

"my power source and RAM are good"

How are you so sure? RAM should be DDR3-1866 or better. Power supply should be a quality name brand, 500W or better, single +12v rail with high amperage rating (32A or more), active PFC, 80 plus efficiency rating, 3 yr warranty or better.

And not all AMD 970 Chipset motherboard's are created equal.
