http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...

This is the Radeon HD 5670. It's a decent card that uses dx11 and eyefinity (multiple monitor support). It also doesn't need a power connection from the psu. It draws it's power from the pci-e slot on the Mobo. Not knowing what power supply you're using, it's hard to tell. If you can post back with the power supply specs, we can go further. If it's a laptop, you're out of luck. The are not upgradeable.

thanks a lot grasshoper for replying to my query,
here are the details regarding my PSU

i am using a 450 watt power supply, the brand perhaps is unknown to you,its intex, for your convinience i will also give you the voltage details printed at the side of its box,

its intex smart 450 watt,20+4 pin,2 sata,2 hdd,1 fdd,1 fan,
AC voltage 220V 50-60 Hz 5A,
DC OUTPUT +3.3V:30A +5V:29A +12V:18A
also its printed -12V:0.5A +5VSB:2A,just below the DC volt values
i somehow understood the AC and DC volt values but the last line negative values are the ones i just cant get hold of.

moreover i am using a desktop but a crt monitor, brand is samsung sync master 794 mg so will the resolution and display stuff of the card be supported by my STONE AGE monitor??????i will upgrade my monitor to and lcd one in the near future but not right now

also can you plz suggest an equivalent nvidia card, just in case i dont find the ati radeon one in store because you see i am from india and quality products are hard to find in this damn f---in country overflowing with population

thanks a lot again,you really helped me a lot,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,thank you,.....................

Have a look at this chart. It lists both ATI and Nvidea cards. And your welcome. Good Luck.

Use this to figure your power supply.

grasshopper's link is probably best for you then. The benchmark list I gave will allow you to look up your personal top picks in your price range and see how they stack up against each other. The higher on the list, the better, but higher usually means more expensive, so it is best as a tool for comparing two or three different cards in your price range to each other to make an informed decision. Also look at consumer rating information on websites like newegg.com for particularly good or bad personal experiences.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
