With the 4670K (unlocked multiplier) you really need to get a Z87 series motherboard to make full use of the potential of the CPU. My personal preference leans towards Gigabyte based on past experiences, but look at these highly recommended boards:

On a gaming machine, you cannot skimp too much on nearly any component. In other words, getting a good CPU, motherboard, and graphics card, but getting slower memory, or cheap quality power supply, can make for a bad experience. I advise that when you choose everything else, you post them back here for review before purchasing.
Here is another link with CPU/motherboard combos if you have one of Microcenter stores in your neighborhood (limited areas in the US):

You need the parts by Christmas and you're ordering them today? Good luck, I'd count on getting them after Christmas at this point.

Should've ordered them a couple of weeks ago if you wanted them by Christmas. Procrastination only harms you during the Christmas season, my friend. :)

A lot of venders offer holiday guaranteed shipping, I doubt it will be imposible, however you may have to pay for shipping.

Note that the heat sink has only 3pin connectors so the motherboard does not have full control over the fans, you might want to look at one that uses the 4pin PWM connectors. Try looking at the Coolmaster ones:

Also make sure that you do not go too slow on the memory speed, 1866 or possibly higher for gaming with that rig would be best (not below 1600MHz).

Look at this one:

Although one fan, a second one could probably be added if you need it and you have the room.
As per reviews, make sure your case has the room for it.
