Need low-profile GPU (6 long max) w/ 6-pin PCIe power

Specs: Windows 7
I have a small case with a built-in 220 W PSU. I've connected in line with this a box to supply an additional 400 W ( ). This box is sold, I gather, mainly because it has 6-pin and 6+2 pin outputs to power GPUs.

I myself need a GPU, and because of the size of the case and its weak PSU, I need a low-profile one (6" to 7" long at most, despite my subject line) which takes 6-pin PCIe power. The ~7" length requirement is a helluva restriction, I know, since most low-profile cards of any power are ~8" long.

Moving everything to a standard case is not something I want to do. I don't need the most-powerful card, just something which meets the above requirements, preferably something which I can find new (I'll go to eBay or a clearinghouse if I must).

Thanks in advance!

Did you already buy that system? If not, I highly suggest you reconsider. For starters, it's a small form factor & as you're finding out, the design has major drawbacks. Not only that, but the motherboard is based on the outdated NVIDIA Geforce 6150SE, which is at least 7-8 yrs old. To top it off, you're planning on spending $90 for an external 400W PSU plus another $50-75 on a video card? Why would you bother? You can build a much better system for less. For example:

Or if you prefer AMD over Intel, look at the system you can build for a little over $400:

AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz - $110

Rosewill RANGER-M Dual Fans MicroATX Mini Tower Computer Case - $25

BIOSTAR A880GZ AM3+ AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - $45

CORSAIR Builder Series 430W 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - $37

G.SKILL Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DR3-1333 - $40

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 6670 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 - $75

Samsung by Seagate Spinpoint F3 500GB hard drive - $60

SAMSUNG 22X DVD Burner - $15
