Solved Need Inexpensive LCD Monitor

Specs: Windows 7, SP1, 64 Bit, Quad Core 945 Phenom XII 3GHz / 8 GB RAM
I currently have a Hanns-G HZ201 Monitor (1600x900@60Hz) running off of a Radeon HD 5570 video card that I'd like to upgrade.

Any suggestions for an inexpensive monitor (sub $130) to get rid of grainy text and window backgrounds would be greatly appreciated.

I have had good results with Acer Monitors:

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

What I heard from several sites was that the best approach was to go with an IPS monitor, which I was able to find for $140 at newegg.

Yes it breaks the budget, but the comments were so overwhelmingly in favor of an IPS monitor, that I eventually decided to 'bite the bullet'. Its due here tomorrow!

I purchased an LG IPS224T-PN 22" IPS monitor ($140@ There's no question that the IPS panel is a step up from a TN-type of panel and is definitely worth the money. Its very bright (almost too bright), and the text is sharp with neither the text nor windows backgrounds having any blurriness or graininess to them.
