need help with lynx s60 cutter

Specs: Windows XP
bought used cutter having problems trying to cutting. when i send the document it says cutting and gets to about 65 percent then nothing the cutter never moves or nothing. the information says its coming from my laptop. i use a pmcia card to connect to cutter(usb to serial)... any help appeciated its getting aggravating thanks...

You may need more ram or the USB-to-serial adapter may not be the way to go.

SO IF THAT IS THE CASE WHAT CAN I DO? IT DOES SAY PRINTING ON SCREEN TILL ABOUT 95 PERCENT THEN SCREEN GOES OFF BUT NOTHING TO GOING ON. I HAVE TALKED TO COMPUTER STORE WHICH RECOMMENDED THE PMCIA CARDBUS TO SERIAL PORT ADAPTER TO ME. THE ANY HELP APPRECIATED THANKS TO ALL THAT ANSWER....

Yikes! Caps off, caps off

I can't speak for the shop and I've never worked with a cutter but I remember how slow some of that old stuff was when it didn't have enough ram. I'm mainly talking about internal ram the cutter may have. It could be it's new enough that the ram isn't a factor.

I have this cutter -bought mine in 1999.Go to www.signwarehouse.com they are in Texas and they might get you straight. They have discontinued this model but they are very helpful to me. You may just need the new driver for this because they did change it when windows XP came out. Also it will NOT work with Vista
