I just recently hooked up my computer to my HDTV so we are able to browse the net, watch Hulu and other misc. things. The problem I am having is the screen size. I am running Win XP with a Radeon x800 256mb AGP card that supports all the resolutions I need... however the desktop seems to go off the screen at the top/bottom/sides and there is no way to adjust the position size of the screen through ATI Catalyst control center or through the TV menu. Is there a 3rd party program out there that can do this for me? Thanks for any help.
Depending upon your screen you may have to accept some black borders depending on the aspect ratio of the original source material. The best picture will be at a resolution not greater than the native resolution of the monitor. You will get some distortion if you attempt to fill the screen.
