need backdoor BIOS password for Gateway PC

Specs: Windows Vista
need the back door password for the phoenix trustedcore setup utility because i cant do anything with my laptop without the password, i got laptop from a pawn shop so i have no manual or orginal CD to restore my system on the laptop, its a gateway (T-series) laptop. please help..

The manufacture may well have a back-door password but they are not going to give it to anyone without poof of ownership and I don' think a pawn shop receipt is going to do it.

Is there really such a thing as a 'back door password'?

Yes. The manufacturer uses the model #, the service code or they can use the error code after 3 failed attempts (hash) to generate a default password.

I am surprised the pawn shop bought and sold it without confirming the customer could access it.
