Have you tried Toshiba. It about the only place you will get one. Unless the BIOS chip is socketed, and on a laptop that is going to be unlikely, replacing it is not a DIY job.

What makes you think you need a new BIS chip, Unless you did something really silly they are normally indestructible.

More than likely you'll have to go thru Toshiba. Being a nosy person, I have to ask why you feel you need to replace the chip? What did you do to trash the original one?

I suppose you can try here: http://bios-repair.com/Programmed-B...

Or here: http://www.badflash.com/orderbiosin...

Or here: http://www.biosman.com/bios-replace...

My Husband left me and it's his laptop and has a password when you first turn it on so I wanted to remove that as he is not having it :)

In that case, contact Toshiba for help. Be prepared to prove ownership.

It's a nice laptop & i think u should find a way to ask him for a password.

If it's the Windows password that has you locked out, that's very simple to clear. If it's the BIOS or hard drive password, you'll have to contact Toshiba (or your soon-to-be ex).

If it is the Hard Dsik password, replacing the BIOS chip will achieve absolutely nothing.

Toshiba are the only one that can help you, or speak nicely to your Ex.
