my toshiba laptop says usb device perform faster and not det

Specs: windows xp service pack 2 professional, intel pentium 3 192 mb ram
hi this is moses i hava an old toshiba satellite pro 4300 series laptop and it has an usb port also but when i insert my pendrive it says something like this this usb device can perform faster if you connect to a high speed. and something like there are no high speed usb host controllers installed in this computer
can you please solve my question

Your Laptop only has a USB1 Port, most newer devices are compatible with USB2 specification.

Therefore plugging a USB2 device into USB1 Port Windows will state transfer data speed can be increased if plugged into a USB2 Port.

You can either live with this message or purchase a USB2 PCMCIA Card.
