My server just keeps rebooting indefinitely after it shows the Windows 2003 splash screen with the loading bar at the bottom. The hardware was lately making lot of noise. Any idea? Maybe overheating? What can i do to solve it? Thanks!
Sounds like your harddrive has given up the ghost. You might try running a disk diagnostic program to verify this. Depending on the brand of your computer, many of them now have a diagnostic program built into the BIOS for testing the drive.
Thanks, i will try to find out that. Just wanted to add that i tried safe mode and last known good conf. but nothing. I tried as well to use the installation cd to repair it but it get stuck while verifying the HDD. I think i`ll have to replace the HDD :-((
Sorry for the delate, the problem was solve by a technician who apply an "utility", a software. Thats all i know, he didnt want to tell me which one. So i am happy cause the problem was solve, but sad because i didnt learn anything from this. Thanks!
