The card reader in my laptop is fine but my 8G micro sd card has been completely wiped. Now when insterted the reader doesn't even indicate there is a card in there except for the fact it somes up with 8G on the bottom of the screen. I tried to reformat it but because the laptop thinks the card isn't there I can't do that either. It was expensive so obvioulsy I don't want to throw it out! I am hoping someone knows how to get the laptop to recognise there is a card in there so I can format it again!! Much appreciated!
The size is fine as it was reading this card a few days ago before it was wiped so I know it was OK. The trouble I have is that all of the data that was on the card has now been deleted (which is fine as it was only games) but it has also deleted the formated part so now there is absolutely nothing to read on the sd card so I cant get the reader to pick anything up so i can reformat it, thanks for your reply though
