My Samsung TV does not read my new 128GB USB flash drive

January 22, 2015 at 06:14:55
Specs: Windows 7
I have tested the 128 USB in 2 computers, both of which read it fine... I re-checked the TV USB connection with an older 16GB USB, also reads it no problem.... Seems to be the TV reading the 128, any help would be much appreciated

It may not be able to read a drive of that size, check the manual.

I have read various comments about reformatting to FAT32 any thoughts on if that will help? Or am I risking screwing up the whole thing?

To add to the above comment. You need to verify what type and size USB device the TV can read. Format type may also be relevant. If I had to guess I would guess the capacity is the issue, but FAT32 vs NTFS might also be the issue.

What is the full model of the TV?
