Specs: Windows 7, Core 2 Duo
Well, it did. Washing machine, to be exact. Well this is what happened.
-washing machine
-i left it to dry
-put it in rice
-today I turned it on and there are water holes on the screen (BTW., the phone is a Gravity T), but the touchscreen still works.

Question:
Is it going to eventually dry completely so that the screen is back to normal?

Put it back on the rice, face down and leave it alone for several days. Playing with it is going to do you or your phone no good.

I'm not sure Samsung's warranty covers water damage.

Unless rinsed with distilled water and alcohol the electronics will corrode and it will eventually fail.

I don't really have a fix for you sorry but you reminded me of when I worked for at&t a while back. A fella called me to ask about his warrenty. He had purchased an unlimited unconditional warrenty on it just three months earlier. After I dug into his account for a bit he imformed that he had dropped his phone in the water. Going over his warrenty it did not say that it would not cover it but it did state that even damage caused by the user dropping the phone was covered. He was so happy and asked me to send him a new phone. This is where we went off the tracks. As per his warrenty he would have to take the phone to an authorised dealer for a replacement. This is when he told me the water he dropped it in was the atlantic ocean somewhere around Jamaica while onboard a cruise ship. I suggested maybe a diving trip in the same area.
