not enough information.
post ur full system specs, did u try another monitor ? did u try it on another computer ? did u check the cables if they are properly connected ? do the fans of the card, cpu and power supply spin ?

If u are talking about nVidia 3D then 8400 GS doesn't support it, i think the 3D support starts from geforce 200 series.

Well the 8400gs is a low end piece of crap which does not do gaming well and does not support 3D
