Check your memory with Memtest86. Your symptoms look like Memory, hard drive, or possibly a complete reload of windows. You tested the hard drive, now test the memory, if they both are good (running memtest through all tests will also indicate most hardware outside of hard drive also working) then try reloading Windows (use Live Linux disk first if you need to save personal files to an external drive prior to reload) and make sure you use the power cord while doing this. If it still does not work then I must ask how you tested the hard drive. Using the utility that is downloadable from the actual hard drive manufacturer's website it the best way to evaluate it.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Power supply failure is one of the reasons for Blue Screen error. For preventing this failure, you always check if the power supply unit is working well or not. When RAM works improperly then you can identify the Blue Screen error. For the better performance or prevention of the Blue Screen error, you will be forced to replace the RAM. If your PC gets old, the registry of the operating system gets cluttered with obsolete entities. This can cause the Blue Screen error. The preventive method is to purchase a better registry cleaner, scan and fix any error that you encounter. RAM failure can be fixed by the diagnostic scan of the memory or through manual checking by removing the case and taking one card of RAM at a time and by rebooting the system. RAM can be replaced with high capacity. Another reason for the Blue Screen is viruses and malware. By using good antivirus software you can avoid Blue Screen error.
