my key on my keyboard sticks, how do i fix it?

Specs: Windows 7
alright i have taken apart my keyboard so that i could clean it. after doing so i went and put my keyboard back together and plugged it in and everything is working fine. my problem is though one of the keys will go in but will get stuck, i have to take it out with a knife or some kind of tool to get it loose. how do i fix this problem?

It might be possible to use a home dusting product. They tend to contain silicone to use to lube the key where it slides in the holder. Other choices are some leather conditioners and plastic preservatives like armorall. Or buy some silicone spray to use. Only takes a small amount. If fails replace keyboard.

If it wasn't sticking before you took it apart then you must have messed something up during the cleaning/reassembly process. In that case I guess you open it up and try again.

Is this one of the really old keyboards with metal springs? Maybe you lost one.

Used keyboards are cheap at goodwill.
