Solved my hdmi port wont accept my iphone ?

when i plug in my moto razr into the hdmi port on emachines pc i dont even get a battery charge, any ideas, i really need to fix this. thank u ...

I'm not sure why you're so upset about it, as you've been told twice HDMI is not for transferring data, USB is. I have no idea why Motorola gave you a HDMI cord, it might be so you can play videos from your phone to your TV. Maybe if you read the instruction manual it would tell you.

The HDMI socket is meant for connecting to a TV or monitor, not to a laptop. For connecting, and charging, you need to use the micro-USB connection.

Your Moto Razr is not an iPhone.
HDMI is meant to transfer video and audio only, it does not charge your phone or transfer data.

I HAVE VIDEOS ON MY PHONE AND IT DOESNT RECONIZE THE PHONE...AND WHY WOULD MOTOROLA GIVE ME A HDMI CORD AND NOT A USB CORD, IM JUST GOIN TO BUY A USB CORD AND BE DONE WITH IT. I NEED TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC AND PICS ONTO PC. AND VISA VERSA ...
