I just recently built my own system and everything is working properly now except my front headphone jack is not working. My audio is the built in audio on my motherboard (Realtek High Definition Audio). I installed the drivers that came with the motherboard and i tried plugging in my headphones. Nothing. Next I examined my back audio and tried using the black audio out. Nothing. Checked the Bios settings but couldn't find anything about front audio or back audio. Im stuck at this point. Does anyone have any solutions or suggestions?

You must not have installed the drivers on your computer properly. You must download and install the audio drivers. I too had the same type of issue with my computer and I contacted the technical team at They helped me solve the issue. My computer is working fine now... :)

Look for front panel audio header on the motherboard(use the board manual if u can't find it). Some BIOS has a option to disable front audio(make sure it's enabled) also check if it's enabled in sound driver application.

I checked if everything was hooked up properly, the motherboard came with a CD with thre drivers on it. I installed everything on the CD except an anti virus program. I have looked through the bios and it doesnt seem to be anything about audio except for enabling and disabling audio all together. My audio is enabled however. Is there anything else that could be wrong? Should i uninstall and then reinstall the drivers?
