Specs: Windows 7, 2,4GHz / 4,00 GB RAM
I had a problem with my computer shutting
down when i was running vista. So i formatted
my computer and installed the Windows 7,
and it still shuts down like every day. The
temprature on my CPU is about 60C when im
just using it normally. And when i use the
battery it sometimes just shuts down, and
telling me i dont got any battery left, while its
fully charged and will last for over 2 hrs.
whats wrong?!? it actually shut down right
after i installed windows 7,!

since the temperatures ( idle ) are 60C +, I think you have an overheating the following:

- Apply a fresh layer of thermal compound ( right instructions )

- Reseat the CPU fan

...also, besides the overheating it might be:

- Bad PSU...
- Bad RAM...

Try to work with one stick of ram only, and do it separately with the all stick of RAM until you get a *stable* system...

Google is your friend

P.S...the computer shuts down so as to prevent CPU burnout...

um...what`s your CPU brand / model ?

Since you are sometimes running on a battery I assume you are using a Laptop computer. Overheating appears to be your issue. If you are using the laptop on your lap or on a bed, etc, you will restrict air flow and the unit will overheat.

Also, if playing games you will stress the laptop and it will overheat. There are coolers specifically designed for laptops.

Your ventilation may also be obstructed. Watch the video linked below.
