Specs: Windows 7 SP1, i3 second generation / 8 GB RAM
My computer freezes randomly, sometimes it can just be after an hour between the freezes, and sometimes, the computer will not freeze for a whole week. I have run memory test, and every time ive run them, the computer freezes at a ceratint point. I have also tried take out memory sticks one at a time and see if the memory test would proceed, but it always stops. What could be wrong?

Bad RAM might not always be detected by RAM testing software before the bad RAM provokes a crash in the application.

If the application is freezing with all RAM modules tested separately it's possible that all the RAM modules are faulty.

I've just been researching about the computer freezing randomly and RAM test freezing every time it was run.

This person was only able to fix it by replacing all the RAM with new modules. Computer ran fine after that.

I suggest you unplug the computer and snap each RAM stick in and out 4 or 5 times to burnish the contacts. It is unusual for RAM to actually go bad. More likely to be bad contacts due to the contacts on the motherboard and the memory being made of different metals.

Best to run a memory test from a boot device, instead of from inside Windows. Download and run memtest86+ from the link below.
